Wow, check out that audio post! That’s weird. Too bad they charge $3 a month for that service. Seeing that I’m a cheapie, I probably won’t continue with that after the trial offer expires.

It’s a sad, sad day
It’s a sad, sad day in the neighborhood. I loved watching Mister Rogers, especially the train that went into the land of make-believe. I agree with Cindy and that I think that show was one of the best kid shows ever, better than Barney or anything like that.
I finally got a DVD player
I finally got a DVD player, so I borrowed a few DVD’s from my friend. I’ve watched The Bourne Identity and Chocolat. I’ve wanted to see these 2 movies for a long time now. I like Chocolat a lot, but one of my guy friends (whose name starts with a G and ends in ordon) refuses to see it. He says watching the movie might increase his estrogen level and he might start having periods…hahahaha!!!
Sore from Dragon Boating
It’s been 3 days and I’m still sore. Last Saturday, I went dragon boating with my friend. I basically went to practice with the Dragon Warriors. Boy am I sore. My arms are fine. It’s my lower back and gluteal muscles that are paying for the past few months of inactivity. Come to think of it, even if I was working out, I think I’d still be hurting because I don’t think I use those muscles very often. But here’s a personal goal of mine: To be able to do one (yes, just one) pull-up (not chin-up) from a hanging position. Gotta start building up my upper-body strength.

Random quote in my head: (From The Shawshank Redemption) “Get busy livin’ or get busy dyin’.”
Rock shopping
For the past couple days, I’ve been out ring shopping with my friend, who’s up here from San Diego. (The ring’s for him, not me.) Anyhoo, we went to the gift center where he found a rock he liked. He’s getting the mounting made to look like one from Verragio because that’s what the girl wanted.
After he bought the ring, we walked around the metreon where he would say things like, “I could have bought 3 flatscreen TV’s or 5 camcorders.” Hahaha…wait til he has to pay for the wedding, and the honeymoon, and the house. You just have to have the mindset that “money ain’t a thing” right?
Random stuff
Check out the yellow sign in the third picture.
By the way, I haven’t gotten a chance to write this until now. From my “to do list” (as in A Walk to Remember):
Shoot a gun
Eat fresh sugar cane
Several weeks ago, I went to a shooting range with some friends. I shot a 9mm Glock, and two .45 caliber pistols. I was so nervous. My hands were so sweaty that I thought the gun would pop out of my hand every time I shot it. I brought the target home as a souvenir. I hung it up so it looks like there’s someone standing in my living room. A little scary, isn’t it?
I had a chance to eat fresh sugar cane in Canada when I was in 8th grade, but my mom wouldn’t let me eat it because I had braces at the time. I’m eating it for the first time right now and my jaws are getting a good work out.
Have you seen Missy Elliott’s Gossip Folks video? The little Asian girl is so cute! I didn’t know Asians can dance like that!

I watched Joe Millionaire for the first time yesterday. I’m going to call him Joe disgusting-aire. Man is he UG-A-LY! Doesn’t he look like Gaston, from Beauty and the Beast?
Oooh, check out Worship Archive, another worship music site. Thanks Will!
It’s been about 2 months
It’s been about 2 months since I’ve moved out to the city. The way of life out here sure is different. I should check my blood pressure because I think it’s been raised because of the hustle and bustle of city life. I’ve already had to repair a flat due to a screw that was stuck in my tire, I wasn’t able to buy stuff because the store was out of a certain product (probably because there’s SO MANY PEOPLE BUYING STUFF, and I’ve gotten a parking ticket already for an expired meter…nuts. But I think there’s also some really good things I’ve noticed since I’ve moved out here. I love how everything’s really close by. From where I live, I can go a few blocks in any direction and find great places to eat. Everything’s nearby.
Another thing I’ve noticed is that people don’t look at me funny when I’m out and about. Everyone’s minding their own business. This area is so ethnically diverse, I love it. People don’t stare at you because you’re one of the few Asians walking around. Last week, I went back out to a certain part of suburbia to have lunch with my dad, the people sitting in the restaurant kept looking at me as I walked to my table. Is it me? Am I just to paranoid about race? Or are people still uncomfortable with other people who look different from themselves. All I gotta say is…CONTROL YOUR STARING, PEOPLE!!!
