Under a proposed rule published Feb. 9 in the Federal Register, passports will now cost $135, up from the current $100 to apply for one. It will cost $110 to renew one, up from $75. Interesting, looks like you can tell them what you think.

During the migrant school program this summer, my Chinese friends bought popsicles for their class. They had only bought a couple white ones and the rest were green bean flavored (my favorite!). Just finished the week-long daycamp for migrant kids. Took this picture on the first day. Everything looks pretty nice in this picture, but imagine no AC in 100 degree weather with 70% humidity. My morning coffee barely fought off my tiredness and I wasn’t even working with the kids.
