Gmail now supports IMAP
Yay. I’ve been waiting a long time for this. It really helps when you use different devices, or computers for me, to check email.
Free Flickr Pro Account
Go to Flickr and sign up for a new account with a Verizon/SBC/AT&T e-mail address (e.g. *@sbcglobal.net for me). Current members have to “merge their account” by changing the e-mail address to an AT&T one and you should get Pro access for free for as long as you keep your dsl account!

You’ve probably already seen this, but it looks like the worker bees over at google have been having a little fun:
go to www.google.com/maps
click on maps.
click on the “get directions”
type “New York, NY” in the first box (the “from” box)
type “Paris, France” in the second box (the “to” box)
click on “get directions”
