Under a proposed rule published Feb. 9 in the Federal Register, passports will now cost $135, up from the current $100 to apply for one. It will cost $110 to renew one, up from $75. Interesting, looks like you can tell them what you think.

It happened in the 7600 block of Macarthur Boulevard near 74th Avenue at about 1pm today.

No wonder all those cops blocked off the streets. I heard helicopters circling around too when I was eating lunch at Eastmont Mall, which is about a block away. My thoughts to go out to all the officers and their families. Thank the Lord I’m still alive and able to blog about this.
Been thinkin a little about money lately

Just got this from my coworker about how the world’s youngest billionaires have lost nearly a third of their wealth, according to Forbes rich list.
Then I wanted to write about an article I found the other day: What does one trillion dollars LOOK like?

$1 million
$1 billion
$1 trillion (the pallets are double-stacked)
I didn’t realize one million dollars would look so puny.
