Bad guy at Best Buy

I just got back from Best Buy. I bought a dvd player a while ago, cuz mine started to die on me, but Chris and Mimi bought the same one (since it was really cheap) and it gave them some problems. So I wanted to return it. I had already passed the return date, so they told me I could just exchange it for something else. So I wandered around store looking for something to buy. I didn’t really need anything, but there were a few things I knew I wanted. I was in the computer section when this older guy with some sort of European accent asked if I needed some help. Sacrod has tagged me with something I never should have gotten. It’s quite embarrassing actually, since I don’t read. Sad to say, I’ve only finished one single book in high school. It’s a wonder how I ever got into college, and graduated, for that matter. It was only after college that I started taking a liking to reading. Wait, I take that back. Get your grill on

That’s right folks, I gotta put my tiny grill to use. The 2 hotdogs look quite lonely there. Toasted some leftover buns from the bbq this weekend, slapped on some chili, tossed up a bowl of salad, and I was good to go. The grill fits a maximum of 9 chicken thighs (3×3). I’ve only used it twice (if you count bbq’ing 2 hotdogs as one use), but I think I already got my money’s worth. Plus, I think it’s already falling apart from the weight of the chicken the first time I used it. If you look closely, the rack doesn’t exactly fit on the grill. It fit when we first put it together, but after we fired it up last time, it must have been warped by the heat. So cheap.

When I’m at my desk, I find myself writing notes or reminders on scratch paper all the time. I have a notepad nearby at all times, but I’ve found myself using post-it notes on my computer quite often now.

Sonic is ill

It’s been only 4 years and 70,000 miles, but Sonic has been pushed too hard. He’s now resting at a gas station in Belmont. I have to go down tomorrow to talk to the mechanics to see what’s going on. I hate car problems. I’m getting sad just thinking about how much it’ll cost to fix him up.
By the way, over the weekend, I bought some professional handball really soft suede Adidas shoes. They look much better than what’s shown in the picture. Christina said they look like my house slippers. No way do my house slippers look like that! I also bought clothes at Target for the very first time. Now when the kids get me dirty, I won’t care as much! I am: El Cheapo. Wait, that’s the name of my computer.
