I am definitely not one to shop at Anthropologie, but I do secretly love candles, and my current favorite is actually the one they use in their stores- the volcano scent.
Apartment Therapy, one of the many websites I read, interviewed a department manager from Anthropologie.
Scent is a big part of the shopping experience at Anthropologie. “We always have a candle burning near the door right when you first walk in. Usually it’s Volcano, a very welcoming universal scent that sort of draws you in.”
Personally, I think it smells like Hawaiian Punch. Mmm…
Oh my goodness, how did I miss this back in June?
I guess Disney tried to hide the Millennium Falcon with a bunch of shipping containers at a Star Wars production location outside London. But you can’t hide from The Google. You can see it fairly clearly on Google Maps.
Books, books, books!
Amazon released its list of Best Books of 2017, complete with editors’ picks and gift ideas. I’m excited mostly because I’m always looking for book recommendations. As I retweeted Trip Lee:
I don’t usually buy books as gifts (I did before when I was working with students). I never know if people will read it or if they’ve already read it. I rarely buy books any more, already have too much stuff. I usually just borrow from the library.
So, what other books do I need to put on my ever growing list?
