Costco Etiquette
So I was shopping at Costco today, one of those warehouse membership stores, and they have these booths where people hand out free samples. I go up to one (only one today, ok!) and, being the polite person that I am, asked if I could take one. The guy said, “Of course!” like I didn’t even have to ask! So my dilemma is this, if you ask, of course, they’re going to say yes. What are they going to do, say no? But if you don’t ask if you can try one of their samples, you just walk up to the little table and take one, is that rude? I guess I was just taught not to take things from people without asking.
