I went to see Matt’s

I went to see Matt’s dorm today at Cal. We talked about how liberal the school was, evidenced by his dorm which was co-ed. That means co-ed halls with girls rooms next to guys rooms, and where girls and guys share the bathrooms. It was weird to go into the bathrooms and see the first 2 stalls marked “standing stall only.” I don’t know how Miranda got used to it. I guess you have to if you live there. Call me conservative, but there’s something that doesn’t feel right to me about that. Are people so desensitized that they don’t even think about that anymore?

I read about this mega-church that’s being built. I don’t know what to think. Is this for real? Is this necessary? Do they really think a coffee shop and bookstore, $1.7 million in audio-visual equipment, baseball and soccer fields, and a video arcade is going to attract more people to come to church? Honestly, I’m a bit embarrassed about the frivolousness of churches sometimes.

Here’s something more solid: My friend Kyle, who started the Seeds of Life Ministries, has been out doing some great work.

Talk to me, Goose.
