Iron Chef vs. Backdraft

Backdraft, one of my favorite movies, was on TV tonight. Even though I’ve seen this movie many times before, I still had to fight hard to hold back the tears. If you look at the rotating quotes at the top of this page, you’ll notice one from the movie.

And I love the soundtrack. I already have a bunch of Hans Zimmer cd’s, except for this one. But while I was watching the movie and listening to the music, I noticed something familiar about the music. Yes, I’ve heard the theme many times before, but suddenly, I realized that it sounded quite similar to the opening of Iron Chef. So I did some research and found some sound clips.
