Recent Media Diet (Fall -ish, 2018)

I don't consume that much media, but I thought I'd make a list of what I've been into recently. Feel free to leave recommendations for me.

Update: added Mahjong.

Crazy Rich Asians. I watched this when it first came out, but figured I should still mention it. Came out of the theater feeling very poor and ugly. Just kidding, but not really. Still so very proud of mah peeps.

The Facebook Dilemma. My main takeaway was that Mark Zuckerberg is the worst company spokesperson EVER.

The Haunting of Hill House. I could not stop watching, even when it was dark out. It’s This is Us inside a haunted house.

White, Evangelical, and Worried About Trump. An interesting podcast episode around evangelicalism and Republican politics. Hat tip to Christiana.

Vuhlandes : Sticks & Stones. Been a long-time follower of this guy’s instagram. Happy to see a documentary about his work.

Kehinde Wiley: An Economy of Grace. I’ve really enjoyed documentaries on artists and their process.

Off Camera with Sam Jones. Did I say I liked documentaries about artists and their work? I meant podcasts too. I’ve mostly listened to the episodes with the non-white artists so far.

Trevor Noah: Afraid of the Dark. His ability to imitate different accents is so impressive.

Bay Curious. I love the interesting tidbits about The Bay.

Paulo from Tokyo. I think I just miss Tokyo. He reminds me of my cousin. Must be the goatee.

Mahjong. Gotta keep the mind sharp.

Talk to me, Goose.
