The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Autofocus Lens is on sale for $94 with free shipping. This is one of the first lenses I tell people to get when they get into the DSLR game. It’s cheap and fast. Good for portraits and is generally a bit more artsy-fartsy than the kit lenses.
