Hey Greg, from what I've read, student accounts were described as being renewable on a yearly basis by resigning up and re-validating your email address as valid.

So, I think it's just nothing more that prematurely ending your current account to reenroll for another year. But I guess it doesn't hurt to do it now and get several extra months for now.

I'm going to re-sign up for amazon mom. I need to buy more stuff for the niece!
