Another Year, Another Goodbye


It’s been exactly one year since my grandmother passed away. They finally carved the date into the headstone (shown in the photo above). This weekend, we had to say goodbye to my Uncle Larry, who died at 52, leaving behind a wife, and 2 daughters (ages 11 and 9). He and my mom were pretty tight.

A good reminder to all: spend quality time with your loved ones and take more pictures of them.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm so sad for those little girls.

My grandma passed away in July and what you said here is so true. Spend time with those you love, and always take photos. And record voices, that's important too. I deleted a voicemail from my phone before I could save it and now I'm so sorry I don't have my grandma's voice to wish me a good day.
