I love getting these pictures around this time of year. This is a picture of Cal and Mimi’s son, Caleb. Isn’t he the cutest?
People from our friday night fellowship (plus a few, ok, several, visitors) came over last night for dinner . I made 2 prime ribs and a large rack of pork ribs. Prime rib is one of the easiest things to make for a large number of people. You just put it in the oven for a couple of hours and you don’t have to worry about it! This way, you have plenty of free time to entertain your guests and play with their kids!
After dinner, we had a white elephant gift exchange. Now, does white elephant mean an exchange of junk gifts or does it just refer to the game where people pick numbers, the first person opens a gift, and the next person has the option to open a new gift or steal a gift that’s been opened? I need some clarification. I was the first to go (boo). Which meant if I picked a junkie gift, I would be stuck with it because no one would want to steal it from me. I opened a gift and it was a Rachmaninoff cd. I ended up with it. Hmm…more study music for me.
