Outer beauty?
Busy Beej, that’s what they used to call me at school. I guess I’ve reverted back to my old ways. Long gone are the days where I would sit in front of a computer…wait, I’m doing that now! Hahaha….
Man was it windy driving across the bridge today. There was this old vw bug that was driving in front of me and swerving back and forth in its own the lane.
So my professor dyed her hair, I mean, she put highlights in it. She actually looks really young (yes, she’s Asian). I didn’t know professors were so HIP!!!! But with the highlights, the streaks make her, with her natural dark brown hair, look a bit aged. Hmm…would I want to do that to my own hair? I thought it would look nice, but how can you tell if it has the opposite effects on you? I mean, you dye your hair. You want to look young, cool, whatever. But it turns out making you look older. Then what? I guess that’s why we shouldn’t focus too much on our outer appearance…which may not always be what we want it to be. I am tempted to be daring and try on a new look (it’s not often, but I do!). But I have to remember that we are fearfully and wonderfully made.
