   wow, wish I could go back. some of the Chinese students are actually volunteering for this event : D

   are the pavilions permanent?

   Yeah, I think they get 2 weeks off in April just to volunteer.

   From what I know, most of the pavilions are not permanent, but some structures are built to stay, like the Palace of Fine Art and Seattle's Space Needle.
