Sick day, but not really

rc: so hows ur day?
me: not bad
me: at all
me: i called in sick today
me: thinking i was gonna lay in bed all day
rc: hehe
me: my lil sis surprised me and brought me jamba juice and chicken noodle soup
me: then we went out for a little bit

It’s been a long time since anyone has done something thoughtful like that for me and I am truly grateful. Even though I SHOULD have stayed home and rested, I think she would have gotten bored if I stayed home and slept all day. Despite the pain, I’m glad I got out to get some fresh air.

Oh, I picked up the antibiotics today and gotta wait a few weeks for the x-ray results. I’m sure it’s nothing, it was probably just antagonized by the cold.
