I had a few conversations with several people recently where we compared the churches in America with churches in lesser developed countries. We said that the churches in other countries seem to be so full of passion and zeal for God, whereas the churches in America seem totally lukewarm and complacent. Why is that? I know that missionaries to other countries are fulfilling their purpose in life everyday. Here, we church-goers seem to be doing fine on Sundays, but during the rest of the week, we are solely focused on making money, going out, and doing what pleases ourselves. My friend said that when I talk about this subject, it seems like I should be out there instead of sitting around here. So how can you tell if you’re supposed to “go and make disciples of all nations”?
