  • Edited: Friday, August 22 When I got back, everyone kept asking why I didn’t stay for the Olympics. My answer was “it’s better watching it on TV.” But now that I’ve seen these pictures, I guess being at the opening ceremonies wouldn’t have been too bad. More here or check out some weird Olympics photos.

  • As I was getting my bagel this morning, found out that coffee is only 19 cents at Noah’s Bagels–celebrating their 19th anniversary.

  • Quarter Million Dollars of Digital Photo Gear in a Single Photo

  • I’m glad to be home, but I sure miss traveling already.  Watching this video doesn’t quite help with it either…it’s so amazing.

  • It’s been almost two months since I left. I’m ready to head back. There are just too many people here. I miss having my own quiet space. Of course, I miss Paul and Rufus. Ok, and everyone else too.

  • Beijing, China I don’t think I posted a picture of this from 2006, but here it is with 50 days to go. We were on an outing at Tiananmen Square with the kids this past Thursday. It felt like an oven in the middle of the square.

  • The new album comes out June 12th, just in time before I leave. Too bad I don’t have money to spend!

  • Pushers

It’s like packing luggage! High five to Amy.

  • Consulate fun fact: the seat cover dispenser in the women’s bathroom is upside-down. Hmm, I wonder why… :) I spent a lot of time there last week. But, I also had the chance to use the “special window” at the Laguna St. entrance. I waited in a little room while the consul brought my documents…

  • Very clever…

  • In my high school Sunday school class, we would split into teams of guys and girls. Sometimes, the kids needed 3 groups and they’d split into guys, girls, and leaders. Apparently, leaders are neither guys nor girls.

  • British comedy group Idiots of Ants shows what Facebook might look like in real life. High five to Laughingsquid.

  • Just put in 2 emergency numbers in my cell phone today. You should do the same, just in case.
